When I am waiting in the lane and handing over my vehicle to the inspector, what should I do?
When waiting in the inspection lane, the driver must remove all valuables from the vehicle and head to the side pedestrian lane until the inspection process is completed.
Is it possible to reapply for vehicle inspection at a station other than the one at which the previous inspection was carried out?
You can make a re-inspection of your vehicle at any vehicle inspection station.
My vehicle passed the inspection, but I cannot find the inspection information on Absher.
Vehicle data that passes the inspection is instantly transferred to the Absher system. Failures may occur, leading to failure to link, including if the vehicle data in the driving license does not match what is actually registered on the vehicle or in the inspection certificate. Other technical reasons may occur, such as communication interruptions, etc. The registered vehicle data must be matched between the vehicle's driving license, the chassis number registered on the vehicle, and the data recorded in the inspection certificate.
If there is an error in the driving license, contact the Traffic Department to amend it.
If there is an error in the inspection certificate, contact the inspection station to amend the data or access the customer service section and select a link with the Absher system.
What is the allowed period for re inspection of my vehicle? Is there any fees?
The vehicle owner has the right to two opportunities to re-inspect within 14 working days from the date and time of the first inspection. If the vehicle fails to pass, the vehicle will be returned for inspection within a maximum period of (14) days. In this case, the inspection will be carried out on the items that the vehicle did not pass the previous time, unless new defects appear, and a reduced fee (re-inspection fee) will be collected. However, if the inspection visit occurs after the expiry of the period (14) days or the two opportunities to re-inspect are exhausted, the original inspection value will be calculated, and the vehicle will be inspected for all items.
How do l know the inspection report validity?
The inspection is valid for one year. You can check the inspection validity through:
The inspection sticker or inspection certificate.
Log in to your Absher Individuals account (browser) and select Vehicles - Services - Vehicle Management - Select Vehicle - More Details.
Vehicle Safety Platform website (Check inspection status)
Is the availability of inspection's sticker on vehicle compulsory?
According to the system, an inspection sticker must be placed on the windshield of vehicles undergoing inspection by an inspection officer. One of the benefits of this sticker is that it avoids a traffic violation for failing to present the vehicle for inspection.
Can l change the damaged sticker?
You can obtain a replacement inspection sticker for the remaining period of the inspection validity for a fee of 50 riyals, excluding VAT. It is important to have the vehicle reviewed at an inspection station, or the inspection can be re-conducted for a new fee and a new inspection validity period of one year.
